We guarantee that Armourseal will be unharmed by the normal use of commercial solvents, as instructed by the manufacturers.

We guarantee that an Armourseal encapsulated VPB Screenprint will be unharmed in damp environments, outdoors or indoors, throughout the print's colour life.

We guarantee that an Armourseal encapsulated photograph or computer output, which has not been pierced, will be unharmed by exposure to damp environments, throughout the print's colour life. If the sign has been pierced, the damage could capture moisture between panel surface and print. If you notice this, we strongly recommend it be quickly returned for a new coating, to prevent any further deterioration of the print and maintain durability.

We guarantee Armourseal signs will have a minimum 1mm thick clear protective layer of resin over the print. A thicker surface is available if requested.

Any Armourseal sign, which does not meet with our guarantees, can be returned for a replacement

Armourseal signs give strong resistance to ordinary use for which they are intended. The majority that we have seen have lasted their expected life and in some cases longer. It cannot be predicted though whether your sign will completely withstand a determined assault. Exposure to severe or relentless attacks could result in a spoilt panel.

Whilst we cannot guarantee that your sign will remain undamaged by certain aggressive types of vandalism, we know that Armourseal will put up one hell of a fight!, and we can certainly help in any repairs.

If the surface of your Armourseal sign is damaged, simply dismantle and return. We will recoat, where possible, with a fresh layer of GRP. As a special offer, if this happens within the first twelve months from its delivery to you, we will recoat without charge. If a replacement print is necessary, we will advise. If we are to produce the print, we will supply a quote for your approval. We will still recoat the sign without charge

Colour Life Expectancy

We produce three types of print for encapsulation within Armourseal. Silk screened, photographic and digital output.

Our Armourseal encapsulated silk screened prints have an expected useable colour life of ten years plus. Our digital outputs have five years whilst photographs have twelve months.

These figures are a guide. They apply only to prints produced by VPB and not if you supply your own.

The colour life expectancy of inks is affected by their exposure to sunshine, water or oxygen. There are many variables, e.g. geographic location. whether placed in the shade or where in the use of multiple colours, one fades quicker causing a lighter appearance, though the other inks are strong. It would be misleading to offer a genuine guarantee where there is such variation.
